OLD BUSINESS

1.         Programs report Plymouth Public Library, Jul 19 talk and viewing went well Bill Luzader, Bob Read, Paul Grueter and George Roberts – Moon & Venus viewed with club 10” Dob with clouds coming and going

2.         Future Presentations

a.         Children’s Program, Winslow House, 10 – Noon,  Aug. 6

b.         Magical Moon Foundation of Marshfield, Aug 21

3.         Stellafane Amateur Astronomy gathering in Springfield, VT Aug. 5 – 8 (maybe a couple from club will be there)

4.         Observatory Meeting, Report July 10 & 24 another meeting at the Joslin Center in south Plymouth off Route 3A on the coast

 

NEW BUSINESS

1.         Suggested Viewing Nights, Aug. 7 and 14 (BRING anti-bug spray!!!)

2.         Treasury – Charles McCarthy current balance $1417.30. We have a General Aggregate, Products, Each Occurrence, Fire Damage, Medical Expense (Terrorism is included) Insurance for accidents that happen at club related events in Norwell and elsewhere. Al Monaco suggests that the club could get each member covered…Chuck will check the paper work and share it with Al.

3.         Magical Moon Foundation of Marshfield on Summer Street – Donna Green, evening Saturday Aug. 21 – Louis Gentile will be the contact.

4.         Persied Meteors observing at Centennial Park night of Aug 12-13
