II. NEW BUSINESS

A.Suggested Viewing Nights: June 4th, June 25th and July 2^nd

B.Next Meeting: July 6th.

C.International night of the Moon in Sharon, MA, Sunday Oct 9, 2011

D.Bill Luzader suggested that the club make use of both Astronomy Days - spring in Scituate (east end of SSAS territory) and in the autumn in the west side of the territory (Sharon, Stonehill College in Easton, Bridgewater State University…) - he will check with Jeff Lane about Sharon and with people at Stonehill & Bridgewater State

E.Chuck McCarthy paid $250 for the annual insurance. The current balance $1564.85.

III. OPEN TOPICS

A.Louis Gentile (& wife & son) & Don Greeley (& wife) are going to the Bryce Canyon astronomy convention in July

B.Louis presented Mal MacDonald’s notice in the Astronomical League “Reflector” concerning his awards and mentioned the short article about membership in clubs

C.Louis shared an email about a person wanting to “get rid” of a homemade 8” Newtonian
