Old Business

 

Planetarium Open House in Plymouth was a success – many people saw the new seats and carpet and Saturn and Venus and the ending of the Lunar eclipse. Thank you to Mal, Chuck, Louis, Alden, Steve and Paul

 

Scituate Rotary slide & telescope Presentation – March 28

 

Astronomy Day – Louis has Free stuff from Sky & Tel, communications at church will send notice to all other Unitarian Churches on the south shore, portable planetarium, telescope and paper displays, daytime telescopes, one performance of the Galileo & daughter play at the end of the afternoon

Activities* start at 4 pm, Play at 7 pm, Observing begins at 8 pm

*planetarium programs, astronomy on the web demos, telescope demos, slide show, Rolf’s meteorites (?)

For the play: Tenney will make model of telescope; Bill will get dropping orbs, 2 lenses & power point of images

 

Chuck McCarthy current treasury: $2722.37

 

New Business

 

Public Program at Silver Lake Regional High School sometime in spring

 

May 26 Skyscraper visit – Bill Luzader will arrange
