“30 years of AstroImaging” by the AstroGeek (Steve LaFlemme)

OLD BUSINESS:

1) We still need a Treasurer

2) Dues for 2011 year are now past due

3) Public Viewing Grant Update - commit to two or three telescope viewings at the Summer 2012 Plymouth waterfront concerts and maybe at one of the Newport, RI, music festivals. Money would be available for solar telescopes, cases, video/CCD equipment and some travel support. Request to go to the Newport Folk Festival Saturday July 30, 2011 (July 31 rain date) with telescopes and members of Skyscrapers, Inc (amateur astro club in RI)

4) Observing Night (”Stew & Stars”) at Chickatawbut Education Center at Blue Hills Reservation was postponed to sometime in the spring

NEW BUSINESS

1) Suggested Viewing Nights suspended until snow and ice are gone.

2) Time frame for Board Meeting - Second or Third Weekend in April

3) Astronomy Day Saturday May 14, 2011 from 1 to 4 PM at the Scituate Library

4) Plymouth Public Library Aug 8, 2011 (First Quarter Moon on Aug 6)

5) Winslow house in Duxbury July 22 or Aug 19, 2011

6) Stellafane in Springfield, VT July 28-31, 2011
