1. Scituate Rotary Club on Driftway Rd – Wednesday Oct 22nd 6:00 PM Bill Luzader gives a talk and Mal, George, Skip, Paul others will be there with telescopes (weather permitting)

2. 50th Anniversary celebration

            a. Dinner at Monponsett Inn, Halifax, Oct. 25th

            b. $10.00 per person

            c. Registration Deadline Oct. 15th

3. Presentation at Sunrise Center in Plymouth on Sep. 24th - “Equinox, Pluto & Stars” (Mal, George and Paul) and an astrologer…

SOLAR WEEK, coming Oct. 20-24. Sponsored/produced by UC-Berkeley, NASA and Industry, is a week-long online event for students! See more about here;

Solar Week is a week-long series of educational lessons, games, and other activities online! Been online since 1999, Solar Week explores how we study the Sun, and the important role the Sun plays in our everyday lives on Earth!

In addition, students can submit questions to the highly talented team of actual working solar scientists all week-long. The website can be worked Hello Massachusetts Planetariums/Science Centers,

Solar Week will be the week of Oct. 20-24, produced by UC-Berkeley, NASA (day or night), from a classroom, computer-lab, etc.
