  2. National Solar Tours Open House Oct 6 Saturday 10 am to 4 pm
  3. Weather Festival Sat Oct 27 Saturday 10 am to 3 pm

 

New Business

1. Viewing nights at Centennial Field for October – 6th and 13th

 

2. Report on New Mexico trip – Louis, Don & Alden – Star Hill Inn – shared many images, four of which are on the club’s web site

 

3. PCIS Observatory seems to be ‘on track’ for school approval and construction by spring – Paul & Bill & STEP

 

4. Kathy Clarkson 7-9 pm October 19th back of Hingham Town Hall on Center St. – Rolf Egon contact – will share more information later

 

5. Discussion of the “Seeing in the Dark” some positive and some negative

 

6. Mal MacDonald took an old trashed telescope and made a new mount and tripod for it and it lives again!
