a scanner with a 35mm adapter will be bought

display of old Sky and Tel from Lois Horton & framed cards

2. Telescopes at South Shore local events – Members take telescopes to “local” community events – concerts and the like, during the summer or anytime during the year, choose local sites where many people are in evenings, make a list of such events and send to Bill Luzader; Louis Gentile will plan a telescope at Scituate waterfront (Scituate light house) Saturday night (Aug 4) at sunset

3. Persied Meteor Shower- Aug 12 (Sunday) to 13^th (Monday) at Centennial Park

4. Lunar Eclipse – Aug 28^th (No public observing scheduled)

5. Lynn - High Rock Tower with 12” Meade telescope managed by the city of Lynn; contact North Shore Astronomical Society have a combined gathering at this site some Saturday evening…
